In July 1963, a delegation from the NASA Office
of Tracking and Data Acquisition delivered a presentation to the Australian
Minister of Supply, The Honourable Allen Fairhall, and Secretary John Knott
(Secretary to the Department of Supply 195965).
The presentation given while the Mercury
Project was still operating outlined NASAs plans for manned and
unmanned flights and the tracking requirements of the missions.
Lloyd Bott was one of the official guests at the
opening of Honeysuckle Creek in March 1967.

This book commemorating the Opening of Honeysuckle
Creek Tracking Station was given to members of the official party.
This copy was presented to Lloyd Bott, Deputy Secretary of
the Department of Supply.
