The Transportable Tracking Station was closed and moved out of Australia in 1970.

The main entrance is at right.
The stone with the opening plaque is just to the right of the end of the boom gate.

The old main entrance now leads to a farmhouse just north of the station.

In 2004, Jack Watson returned to the site of Cooby Creek Tracking Station to discover that there’s not much left.
