John Saxon and David Cooke

remember Apollo 11

For the Apollo 11 40th anniversary in 2009, ABC Science journalist Darren Osborne created a 10-minute audio podcast featuring Honeysuckle’s John Saxon and Parkes’ David Cooke.

It’s a lovely summary of their memories of the mission.

Previously running the Visitors Centre at Tidbinbilla, Darren was a greatly respected Science journalist at the ABC in Sydney.

He was also an avid geocacher, and combined his love of geocaching and his love of space exploration in this segment he made for his pioneering geogaching podcast GeoTalk.
