“AUSTRALIA HONOURS APOLLO 16” Milton Turner, Honeysuckle’s Administrative Office from 1970, has supplied this scan of a ‘First Day Cover’ to commemorate the launch of Apollo 16. It is postmarked Woomera, 17 April 1972. It features many of the Australian facilities which were to support Apollo 16 (and must have taken quite a bit of co-ordinating to pull together). |
